Matthew on his trampoline

Matthew is now two years old! He was born on 28th January 2009, 7 weeks early, weighing 1.72kg (3lbs 11oz).

He spent the next three weeks in Airedale Hospital’s Neonatal Unit, but that seems a very long time ago. When he was weighed for his “U7″ healthcheck recently he had reached 11.5kg (25lbs).

He enjoys taking in his surroundings wherever he goes, and does not like sitting still. He can walk, even climb stairs with help, and loves “reading” and playing with toys.

The healthcare professionals were right, he is a feisty and determined individual!
